Environment

In Q1 2018, our Executive
Management agreed to a strategic
plan that focused our efforts
on increasing QHSE standards
across the K&A Group. One of
these objectives was to achieve
OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
certification for the Gulf
region, and we successfully
achieved this in June 2018.
This is the easy part!
The implementation of QHSE
systems and changing
cultures are the real
challenge and the UAE
in particular is now
reaping the benefits
of our efforts.
Subsequently, we
restructured our ‘HSE
Supervision Services’ to
align with best practice, our
international competitors and
our client expectations to go
the extra mile. Our clients and
PMCs have also noted that we
are changing.
The journey is by no means
complete. We have a plan to
drive effective HSE leadership,
continue training and developing
our people throughout 2019. à
