In October 2017, Khatib & Alami’s Co-founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Zuheir Alami was honored the Creative Engineer Award, during the “Hassib Sabbagh & Said Khoury Engineering Award” that was launched by Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) to commemorate his longtime achievements and contribution to the engineering fields.

In addition to the award, Dr. Alami received the sum of 20,000 USD that he donated to Birzeit University Scholarship Program to support academic excellence and aid outstanding engineering students. Senior Manager of K&A’s Palestine office, Engineer Bassam Jawhary received the award on his behalf.

Yet another celebrated Certificate of Honor and Distinction was presented by the General Union of Palestinian Engineers (GUPE) to Dr. Alami for his boundless generosity, good deeds and significant contributions to the betterment of Palestine. Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, former Manager of K&A’s Palestine office, received the certificate on his behalf.
